It’s an activity for children that occurred to me while we were talking and studying about television. We did it with Kids 5 group and they loved it!
During the last few weeks children got to know some new vocabulary related to television. To be exact, they learnt the names of different TV programmes, for instance: quiz, weather forecast, series or news. As we all know kids really like watching television, but how about appearing on it?
They were absolutely falling over themselves to participate in such a project. Together we prepared three types of programmes, which seemed most interesting to them, and wrote some lines to learn in order to record our own TV programmes in class. This activity let the pupils practise the pronunciation as well as consolidate the new material and make use of the learnt vocabulary in the real world. These are the results.

TEATRO EN CLASE
Es una actividad para niños que se me ocurrió mientras estábamos hablando y estudiando sobre la televisión. ¡Lo hicimos con el grupo Kids 5 y les encantó!
Durante las últimas semanas los niños conocieron un poco de nuevo vocabulario relacionado con la televisión. Para ser exactos, aprendieron los nombres de diferentes programas de la tele, por ejemplo: quiz (concurso), weather (el pronóstico del tiempo), series (serie) o news (las noticias). Como todos sabemos, a los niños les gusta mucho ver la televisión, pero ¿qué les parece aparecer en ella?
Estaban absolutamente entusiasmados por participar en este tipo de proyecto. Juntos hemos preparado tres tipos de programas, que les parecían más interesantes, y redactamos unas líneas que aprender con el fin de grabar nuestros propios programas de televisión en clase. Esta actividad permitió a los alumnos practicar la pronunciación, así como consolidar el nuevo material y hacer uso del vocabulario aprendido en el mundo real. Estos son los resultados.
