Hi everyone!
I am really glad to do my bit in this blog and have the opportunity to transmit all those things I consider useful, relevant or eye-catching. As this is my first contribution to the blog and I am fully aware that many of you would like to be a fly on the walls at our classrooms, I am going to share several things with you that I am sure you will enjoy. The protagonists are the little ones this time.
Thank you, flashcards!
The flashcards can be used in many different ways and children love them! They are the ideal resource for any English teacher and a must when playing games in the class. Flashcards and games are the perfect match. In this video you can see two of the most enjoyable games starring our students Elena and Daniela.
Songs
We all know that children are like sponges and they learn very quickly. However, if there is a song related to the given unit, they learn even faster. What is more, they will probably remember the song and its vocabulary in the longer term. In the following video starring Valeria, Adrián, María, Claudia and Enrique we can see how they start their lesson every day.
Communication
Communication is regarded as our top priority. We want our students to be able to communicate in English in real contexts in the future. Thus, paying special attention to speaking skills is crucial. Role-plays are a great idea because they enjoy playing different roles. In this video one student is the interviewer (Daniel) and there are two interviewees (Samuel and Jose).

¡Hola a todos!
Estoy realmente contenta por aportar mi granito de arena y tener la posibilidad de transmitir todo aquello que considero útil, importante o llamativo. Como es mi primera aportación al blog y sé que a muchos os gustaría mirar por un agujerito para ver lo que hacemos en clase, voy a compartir varias cosas con vosotros que estoy segura de que os gustarán. Esta vez los protagonistas son los pequeños.

¡Las fichas con imágenes se pueden utilizar de muchas formas distintas y a los niños les encantan! Son el recurso ideal para cualquier profesor de inglés y algo obligatorio cuando se realizan juegos en clase. Las fichas y los juegos forman la combinación perfecta En este vídeo podéis ver dos de los juegos más divertidos protagonizados por nuestras alumnas Elena y Daniela.
Canciones
Todos sabemos que los niños son como esponjas y aprenden rapidísimo. Sin embargo, si hay alguna canción relacionada con la unidad, aprenden más rápido incluso. Además, probablemente recuerden la canción y el vocabulario a más largo plazo. En el siguiente vídeo protagonizado por Valeria, Adrián, María, Claudia y Enrique vemos como empiezan la clase cada día.
Comunicación
La comunicación es nuestro objetivo número uno. Queremos que nuestros alumnos sepan comunicarse en inglés el día de mañana en contextos reales. Por tanto, es crucial prestar especial atención a las habilidades comunicativas. Las representaciones son una gran idea porque les encanta desempeñar distintos papeles. En este vídeo un alumno es el entrevistador (Daniel) y hay dos entrevistados (Samuel y Jose).
